The FBKT adventure started out with an addiction to tea of course, a love of gastronomy, a taste for travel, a desire to discover the world and to make by hand… mixed with a good dose of daring! There are also epicureans in sneakers who do not recognise themselves in the commercially available brands.
This heralded the beginnings of Fabrikathé, nicknamed FBKT, a young French brand of tea & herbal teas, created in the Loire region in 2016, and offering exclusive traditional recipes inspired by French gastronomy with a high-end, inventive and modern spirit.
Our tea suits all tastes – a tea for you, for him/her, for you, you and you over there, too… provided that you savour our slightly off-beat little world, which dusts down classic tea-time and detaches itself from the often snobbish image passed down from the colonial counters of India.
We wanted to create a premium tea brand on a human, modern scale combining traditional know-how, creativity and delicious flavours.
Located on the Roanne coast, at the foothills of the Massif Central, our workshop – one of the few tea manufacturing workshops ni France – benefits from the magnificent setting of this thermal/wine-growing region.

Notre entreprise familiale compte 20 personnes (près de la moitié d’entre nous habitons le village ou les villages voisins) et tout le monde a sa spécialité ! Mais fournir des thés et infusions de qualité à nos clients dans les délais voulus est notre priorité : si besoin, toute l’équipe se met à la production !
FOUNDER OF FBKT, RECIPE CREATION, TRAINING
A tea sommelier! A former instructor at the Institut Paul Bocuse (2015-2019), he has traveled extensively and is now an expert in tea tasting.
He has now retired from the wine world (and not for health reasons!).
PURCHASING - PLANT EXPERTISE
10 tons of dried plants, over 1000 raw material references, 24 import countries… With a background in pharmaceuticals, Natalya is in charge of supplying the workshop with plants, original teas, fruits, flowers, spices, essential oils… She knows the world of wellness plants inside out!
She’s very nurturing and can’t resist bringing us little cakes with the tea.
Sales
As head of the Sales Department, she manages customer relations with a sympathetic ear, always smiling and full of energy !
A nature lover, she divides her time between hiking and horse-riding.
Marketing - communication
At the helm of the Marketing & Communication Projects Department, Justine and Céline, two dancers at heart, combine creativity, design, photos/videos and communication to manage the brand’s image!
Céline => A yoga enthusiast, dancer and communications expert, she combines creativity, rigor and efficiency on a daily basis.
Justine => A big fan of festivals, dance and techno, she always has a pair of Doc Martens on her feet!
Sales - Logistics
Together, they manage the day-to-day relationship with our business customers: advice, registration, shipping and invoicing, all with efficiency and good humor!
Laurine => At 1.80m, this basketball player has made the team’s average height soar!
Violette => A market gardener by trade, she alternates easily between the office and the plantation, juggling administrative tasks, sowing and harvesting.
Order picking
She single-handedly manages order preparation and new implantations, with exceptional organizational skills!
Chacha => Originally from Thailand, our chacha loves to cook and paint. She always has a smile on her face!
Workshop, assembly, recipe creation
Every day in the workshop, they weigh, cut and blend strawberries, teas, papayas, marrons glacés, verbena, ginger… and can assemble up to 80/100 kg of FBKT teas & infusions by hand every day! They also make pyramids and assemble cocoa and spice recipes!
Jean-Pierre = > 25 years as a chef in gourmet restaurants. Trained 3* chef. Globe-trotter.
Manu => Ex-military and very sporty, he’s a big mate fan !
PLANTATION
An agricultural engineer, Olivier oversees the Plantation and our entire agricultural model: irrigation, crop planning, harvest schedule…. You have to think of everything!
Alain, who originally specialized in arboriculture, works every day in our plots, watering, sowing, weeding, planting, harvesting, drying…
